Description

The dielectric silica sleeve is made with silica yarns. Silica fibers are made from continuous glass fibers diameter of 6 μm and above, with an additional treatment to increase the mass proportion of SiO2 over 94%. It is used as a reinforcement of composite materials, as an acoustic, thermal, hydraulic and electrical insulator to protect cables. Under normal conditions it has good chemical stability.

Electric furnaces and radiators, electric resistances, cable protection, steel, glass, metallurgy, nuclear, chemical, aeronautics.
